Great trade, horrible pick.  Probably handed in the wrong card.  Since when is the safety your QB on defense?  He'll call the adjustments from ten yards back?

I think they thought Claiborne would skate past the Rams and that is why it took so long for them to get their pick in, but I am guessing they are still happy.

He's not a guy I was expected.  But I have to admit that it will be kind of nice having a safety that can play actual disciplined football.  Hope he can stay healthy.

Couldn't be happier with this pick - didn't even know his name until they called it out. I think he's gonna be a perfect fit for us, and will be a great addition to getting back some of the respect we've lost since 2002

Can't wait to see him blow the ball carrier up for years to come.

Don't everyone get it twisted, Barron is a stud safety.  ESPN said Schiano wanted him to be the QB of his defense.  If Foster is staying at MLB, then Kuechly didn't make sense.

Foster staying at MLB doesn't make sense.

I'll trust the coaching staff on that one.  New set of coaching eyes, and yet they're still keeping him there.

Can't talk a coach from getting his guy and picking up a 4th rounder along the way.

Don't forget: He could have had Clayborne or Luke. Keluchy and he passed on both to get HIS MAN.

Looks like the guy brings hat.

Meh...o well...be ed reed dude, be ed reed.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Love the pick. Better than Claiborne selection. The kid's a beast and is a sure thing. Our defense just got a whole lot better. Every expert I've read says Barron is the real deal.
