If "best 11" is the goal...then we wont.

Unless we get a surprise LB in the 5th or 6th...should be looking at David, Foster, Watson.

Well, actually the way I see it playing out is

Clayborn/McCoy/Price/Bowers

David/Foster

Talib/Wright/Barber

Grimm/Barron

I think thats the unit thats gonna be on the field the most.

Agreed LGB.

Except Talib probably won't be here, so it'll be Wright/Biggers/Barber. :(

Be awesome if Gaitor steps up this year. We need him to.

However the defense is aligned...if Biggers or QB are out there..then that probably means that the "best 11" arent on the field...I think Gaitor will hop Biggers..and there is still the possibility of picking up another CB whether its Mike Jenkins or one of the CBs left in the 5th.

I really don't think Biggers is that bad.

He's definitely not (maybe I should say hopefully) one of the top 2 CBs on this team, but he is a capable 3rd or 4th string guy imo.

He's just been asked to do too much

Lavonte David reminds me of Patrick Willis. Patrick Willis has got almost 10lbs on David, but other than that they are similar size, and have the same strengths and weaknesses. They even look the same when they are playing. I'm not suggesting we move David to Mike (although I believe 100% he could) I'm just saying I think he can be a Willis type player at the Weakside for us.

So we looking at David/Foster/Watson this year?  :o

Easy JDUB I've praised you be4 but you comparing David to Willis not gonna happen... Dude looks like he can bench press two cows and a pig.. And he (Willis) plays like a power backer adavid plays more like Hayes making splash play behind the line of scrimmage and hawking guys down from behind.. Nothing like Willis sorry just don't see it

Just watched the press conference after the pick and Schiano looked giddy talking about David.

I hope he's not 54. I feel burned by the last 54!

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Black is probably going to start over Watson unless Watson improved a lot.

Watson was just as bad at Black at tackling, and at this point he's just a one trick pony who can rush the passer, and not that well really. It worked well earlier in the season when the Dline was healthy and ferocious, but eventually it just kept on burning us because he'd get no pressure. The one thing Black has over Watson is the ability to cover. He's not amazing or anything at it, but he's at least good enough to leave out there on 3rd downs and cover unlike Watson.

Black isn't a poor tackler either other than last year where the whole defense was bad. He's just really mediocre and not good at any particular thing. He wouldn't be a starter on any other team, he'd just be looked as at a decent backup.

I am still hoping we have a shot at these people:

CB's:   Shaun Prater/Leonard Johnson/Josh Norman    Round 5
LB:      Miles Burris/Nigel Bradham                                 Round 6
QB:     Ryan Lindley/Kirk Cousins                                   Round 7
RB:    Joe Martinek                                                          Round 7

I don\'t believe in the Electric Chair...I believe in Electric Bleachers!

Like the Burris and Martinek picks .... might not have a 5th if we move up in the draft again or might have a 4th and a 5th if we potentially trade Winslow for a 4th ( pure speculation on my part)
