i havent watched any videos of him, but hope we take a look.  i think he could be the combo/versatile guy.   that said, how good is his blocking as a fullback?  he was 224 at the combine and nfl.com has him at 225.  can he hold up at that size?

Dude.  He's the all time leading rusher in NJ high school history.  Over 7000 yards.

Hamilton? He could have been the next Vick if given the chance.

We tried to sign him , and he rejected us because he wanted to stay near Jersey . Well  , now I say let him rot in Jersey.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Well that is why 12 year olds aren't GMs in the NFL.

He is a hometown hero in highschool and college, he grew up a Giants fan, and he gets a chance to stay home, be near his family, and play for his favorite team. Gee....wonder why he went for that?

Dunno if go with him over Lorig and Hughes so close to the season.  What time/play time would he have to show/prove that he can be what we need.  To show and prove that he's a better option than Lorig or Hughes.

Unless they claim him and cut him when the next roster cuts are due (Friday I think) and then try and sneak him onto the PS?

BucD....I'm thinking PS until he gets the offense down. Doubtful he could come in and after one week be ready to play on the active roster. However, he's a solid fullback that understands blocking schemes and leverage....and then he has 4.5 speed, is a natural pass catcher, and runs hard. Throw in the fact that he and Schiano have history, and it just seems like too much potential to pass up.

i would think schiano knows all he needs to know about the guy.  if anything he would be backup FB and 4th RB...no need imo to spend time on the PS.

Hey I'm all for it.  I was really hoping we'd get him as an undrafted free agent.  Just trying to think how we'd go about doing it.

I would love to snatch off the waiver wire.

That might be relevant if we were talking about a great player who immediately upgrades our team....we aren't....

I ran track against Joe from the ages of like 8 until 14 when I moved from NJ to North Carolina. The last time I long jumped against him was at USATF Regionals and I got 2nd and he got 1st. He looked like a full grown man and still beat me with an arm cast on haha. He was a year older than me so we would run/jump against eachother every other year when we were in the same age group. Would be pretty cool to have somebody I know on the Bucs. We almost did last year when Jay Ross was trying out for the Bucs.
