I don't have sources but I put some tweets I found yesterday about us signing him in a few threads!

Going into year 5 and our QB is still stuck in his rookie learning curve!!!

It's too bad they didn't pick up Russell Wilson.    He could have beaten out Freeman for the starting position.
Sad thing about this post is .................................

Seriously.....just cuz ur source has Jefferson being signed doesn't make this a "FREE ON NOTICE!!!!!" moment....Orlavsky is more of a threat to Free's job and he's currently being fitted for gloves to protect from clipboard slivers.....so ya.....good one tho.

That's hilarious, and sums up the original post perfectly.

We need a lot of arms to throw to our 5,000,000 receivers. Makes sense.

So you (the OP) thinks that us signing an unrestricted FA equals Freeman on notice? That's a reach in my opinion. Now I think Freeman is actually on notice as he literally has no reason not to regain his 2010 form, however us signing random LSU QB has nothing to do with it.

Jordan Jefferson? The guy that chocked on his own **CENSORED** playing the Alabama defense in the national championship?

I'll go ahead and put $ on Jefferson never throwing a regular season pass in his entire career.

Jefferson is terrible.
Absolutely awful.
One of the worst QBs in college football.

OP just went from a credibility score of 0 to -40,000.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

only played because of his running ability. So unless Schiano is running the option I think Freeman will be fine.

They brought Jefferson in to be a crash test dummy. I don't think they see anything more than that.

Hey, if Mark Barron is gonna have to lay people out during OTAs, it might as well be some crappy ass QB. :D

I am seriously wondering how Mark Dominik tries to explain to Jefferson that he doesn't get to wear one of those red safety vests over his uniform so defenders don't hit him.

Quote from: Mark Dominik
Hey Jordan... about the red vest, unfortunately, we didn't... er.. um... we didn't buy enough of them... I also wanted you to know that you'll be working with our 4th team o-lineman. Don't worry though, Blount will be pass protecting for you out of the backfield. I'm sure you'll be fine.
