@AdamSchefter Class story of the day.  Bucs announced today that they have signed former Rutger DT Eric LeGrand, who was paralyzed in 2010.

Wow. There was an emotional connection between Schiano, LaGrand and the rutgers players. Pure Class Greg Schiano and to the entire Bucs organization.

Classy move. That was a great story about how Schiano stayed with him every night in the hospital. Good to see that he is healthy enough to come to camp. Don't know much about him as a player, but how can you not root for him?

Because the guy paid the ultimate price that a football player can pay, and it shows the Bucs and Schiano still want to do what the can to help the guy recover not only physically but as a man.

A very nice gesture.

Dude has a had a long road and still has a long road ahead of him. I follow him on twitter and get goosebumps when he will post something about wiggling a finger or something like that. He will be a very inspirational story.

yeah i guess we might as well give up a roster spot for the guy and deny someone else who should really make the team.

Why not just make him some honorary member. He isnt going to play right?

Wow, shocking! Bucs add LaGrand to their 90 man roster. That is outstanding for him. I hope he can walk again one day, live a somewhat comfortable life. Glad to hear.

The real story is that he might walk again one day, not that he'll be one the active roster.  This is a class move that shows the humanity within the game and I applaud the front office for doing it.
