JoeBucsFan‏@JoeBucsFan

FYI, Bucs have forbidden media from Twittering of (brief) open practice today and at further OTA/mini-camps open windows

Why?

They're just going to report what they saw as soon as the practice ends.

What is odd about it?

He was even strict about his window on the Rome show.

The guy is business.  His business is football, not accomodating the chumpstain local media.

Glad to hear about this, there is no need for tweets during practice.  Gets rid of all the Bellicheat types that may be snooping around...or the Loomis types as it may be nowadays.

It doesn't make any sense Boid.

As soon as they walk away from practice, with notepad in hand, the media is going to report what they saw.

It's very odd.

Let them do what they want.  The man says don't do it, don't do it.  I truly like it.

I am sure there is some subversive reason for disallowing media to tweet.  I prefer they not let any media in ther myself.  But rules is rules (gay guy from family guy again)

That's how

BUCCANEER MEN

do it!

Gawd, that phrase 'buccaneer men" is going to get **CENSORED**ing old quick.
Where's "we're going to take off our underwear and put the Big Boy pads on" when you need it??

This does have Schiano's old school fingerprints all over it.

But to me it seems silly because it is just delaying the media from inevitably reporting what they saw. Only by a few hours max

Time can distort things.  I wonder if he will tell reporters with cellphones to get off the field?

Chip Carter FOX 13
Bucs have shut down media from tweeting and using Facebook for updates during practice. No updates on Twitter or Facebook -- they say too much wrong info was getting out.
