And another former Scarlet Knight joins the team, according to Rick Stroud.

Rick Stroud ‏ @NFLSTROUD
Former Rutgers WR Tiquan Underwood has agreed to terms with the Bucs. Underwood also tweeted he's 'taking his talents...to Florida."

A decent, quick receiver who could push Parker. It'll be interesting to see how many Scarlet Knights are on the opening day roster.

It's ok. West Virginia isn't on the Bucs schedule this season.

I have no problem with adding Underwood.

I expected a lot of former Rutgers players to make the roster.

Underwood
Gibson
Zuttah
Wynn
Johnson
LeGrand
Roberson

7 guys + Coaches.

I also am a bit worried that he is looking far too much into Big LEast players as well. Best players are in the SEC, ACC, Pac 12, and Big 12? I don't know. I just am not that impressed with the Big East as some people are.

OK I guess I thought it was odd we only had 8 Wrs on the roster compared to 7 TEs.

At least the Bucs are now willing to make roster upgrades and bring in competition at all positions. Let the guy compete and let the best player win.

Why is this bad? Schiano said he's only signing the ones that may possibly help. Underwood helped the pats.

This space for rent....*sigh* I trusted you coach.

We've been told that this is good for implementing Schiano's "system".....that these players are familiar with the Rutger's  Buccaneer Way and they'll show the rest of the players how they're supposed to get things done.

Seriously, Zuttah doesn't  count and neither does legrand.  Z was here already and planned to be replacement long before this year.  LeGrand is either a cut or IR.  he may make one game active for symbolic purposes, but I doubt that.  Gibson is a decent signing, cheap rotational guy.  We'll see how many of the others stick.  And remember, he isn't alone in this, not like he's the only guy making the calls and relying only on his own input.

Further more, it isn't even about them being Rutgers players. This is The BUC way. If these guys fail Schiano will cut them. Simple as.

Underwood did make the Patriots, a fairly decent team that played in the Super Bowl. He's the guy they cut just prior to the game so they could activate Ochocinco. Tiquan will compete for a roster spot here like everyone else...

Underwood?  The guy who Bellicheat cut right before the Lombardi game?

Wonder what he did to piss off Bellicheat...

And his haircut was funky.  Maybe that's what did it...
