it's interesting that Schiano signs Underwood over Tim Brown; obviously, Schiano decided Tim Brown was to small to play.

Having known Underwood a long time, I can tell you he's a very decent kid. He's a good leaper and if you have followed him he's a decent return guy. He's been mostly the odd guy out and hasn't lived up to his performance level his junior year at Rutgers. I don't expect him to beat out VJax, MW, Benn. But if the Bucs have decided Briscoe is too much trouble, he could battle Parker for the fourth WR spot and be credible. Certainly worth a chance.

This doesn't upset me. I doubt all these guys make the final 53, but these are all guys that Schiano knows have bought in to his philosophy. They will help show the rest of the guys what Schiano expects out of his players. Coach is trying to change the culture and having all these Rutger guys in camp helps him do that. With 37 extra spots during the summer, it doesn't hurt to have these guys around. If they actually all make the final 53....then I'd have a problem, but that ain't gonna happen.

Britt, Underwood, Zuttah, George Johnson, and more suggests that Schiano does know his talent; i'd say his choice of talent and what he wants to do may be different than most people are used to. I'm tempted to say he's a little Bellichek like.
