   OK, guys, who WAS the Trib's beat writer for the Bucs BEFORE Roy Cummings? Best I can tell, Cummings was moved to that gig around 1998-9... I remember I really liked his writings, but CANNOT remember his name!!

     Tom was a superb writer/storyteller, but don't think he was ever a beat writer for the Bucs. I THINK the guy I'm looking for went to the Orlando Sentinel, but is no longer there either.
