I believe the original post spoke of the increasing hispanic population, yet "evolved" down a different path. I've learned that nothing positive can come of these conversations when held under the cloak of anonymity which is why i generally refrain from posting in them. I shall continue that practice.

The article mentioned several races, not one. The OP also offered this opinion, "Politics and economics will be just a few of the institutions to get overhauls once the melting pot is fully mixed.". I simply pointed out, based on nothing but facts, another area that would change once "the melting pot is fully mixed". I also wanted to prove that discussing indisputable facts is only acceptable if you're a minority, and I did just that. I'm not afraid to bring up controversial facts, the very fact that so many ARE afraid to do so is exactly what Carolla said, the reason the cycle continues.

And you're wrong about "nothing positive can come out of these conversations". I believe the opposite. The problem comes when people sweep the issue under the rug, or jump to cowardly name calling and race card pulling in order to toe the PC line. There's a problem, many are aware of it, few are willing to talk about it.

I'm not on the edge of anything. This is an issue no different than any other. There are many issues to debate, many problems in our society.....yet only one remains taboo to talk about. That's ludicrous and I'm unwilling to play by such silly rules. If you feel uncomfortable talking about it, that's certainly your right. To tell someone else to "withdraw", is not.

Should we all post our pictures, names and addresses prior to each post? If you're under the impression that I'd be afraid to bring up FACTS in person, you're sorely mistaken. I find it embarrassing that so many people appear to be spineless and weak when it comes to simply discussing an issue. It's also embarrassing that society has taken one issue and said "this one here, it's not to be discussed, ignore at all costs", and so many people have bought into it. That's brainwashing at it's finest.
