Has he signed anywhere? I coulda swore I saw a tweet yesterday that he was in Tampa for a visit, can't find anything on it though. Any truth to that? Knowing how the Bucs keep a lot of stuff on the DL wouldn't surprise me if true. He's pretty much like K2, receiving threat not much of an all around TE. Wonder if we did get him would it mean K2 is out or we trying to copy what the Pats are doing.

Just saw Schefter report on ESPN that Clark was in for a visit last week and could possibly be signed this week. This is the first I'm hearing of this.

Would love some Dallas Clark. When healthy he is really good an will help Freeman because he is not a me first guy.

The dude still could contribute as a 2nd or 3rd TE option and probably wouldn't be all that expensive...I would be 100% board with bringing in another veteran presence on this offense who can contribute on and off the field.

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.

If you want to do what the Patriots do, they don't just have two all-receiving TE's. Gronkowski is a very credible blocker and in the past Belichick has long employed blocking TE's like Alge Crumpler (once he weighed 300 lbs), Daniel Graham and Christian Fauria.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

True..  But with the news on Winslow I got my answer.

This would be an upgrade. He has inury concerns ( but so does WInslow ) , and he's a better player with a better attitude when he's on the field.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Hopefully he'll be a positive influence on Stocker and the rest of the young guys.

Showing up for practice and conversing with the other TEs would be a great step forward.

Not sure what he has left in the tank but you would think he would be a good mentor to the young guys, including Freeman. He's played with one of if not the best ever, that expiernce will be nice to have on our side.

Would be a great signing. For one, he wouldn't automatically be Freeman's lock target, and would force him to scan the field.
