The key words were "starter declining AS MUCH".

2 seasons of decline prior to signing...

Deese maybe, can't remember really what kind of a decline he was on though or if he played bad.

So, C.H.A....lets say that you somehow conviced everyone that the answer to your question was..."no"...then what?

I wonder if the Gru-allen nostalgia(*cough*delusions*cough*) will this be around in 15-20 yrs.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

It'll be gone within the next 10 years, then come back full force when Gruden's name takes over Madden's in the video game series.

I'm a Winslow fan but his penchant the past couple years for dropping the critical pass or pushing off the defender was wearing thin on me. As much as it pains me I'll take the sure hands of Clark over the wobbly knees of Winslow. I wish him luck in Seattle but Gary Sheldon article in the Tampa Bay Times was dead on. The days of player entitlement are over in Tampa Bay.

Clark was full of drops last season and has missed a ton of time over the last 2 seasons.  If they signed Clark hoping for producion then they are taking a big risk.

They signed him to a 1 year, no risk contract. Smart move, imo.

Lomas Brown - but he declined so much he couldn't start in Tampa despite the presence of Kenyatta Walker and Cornell Green.

Only financially.

Y'a get what you pay for. What about Production?

The better question would be, did they ever NOT sign a guy like that?

Stocker is the starter. Clark will be in on clear passing downs or as a redzone player.

He's going to bring a lot of juice to our offense.

If he can make the most of his limited targets TB won't need him to be ultra productive. Good role player something Winslow couldn't take.
