The biggest thing about a new engine is that players will no longer get locked into animations, body parts won't "ghost" through other players, and every limb will now be effected by contact. This is a huge step for Madden and for the first time in over a decade it should actually feel like a new game. Seeing as this is the first year with the new physics engine, I don't expect it to be perfect. I'm sure there will be bugs and such, but I'm really excited to buy it and try it out. I had become tired of Madden. Every year they added new stuff that didn't really make a difference because the core of the game was flawed due to an outdated physics engine. This is a giant step in the right direction.
I sense there will be glitches with this. Most of the games I play that utilize similar type engines (Physics) end up having over-reactions to certain animations. It's kinda funny, but if it is really buggy, it could be a problem. I hope EA put a lot of work into it. The previews looked great though, I'm excited about the possibilities. Very curious to see what they are changing, if anything in other modes ie; Franchise/Superstar/Create-a-Team/Create-a-Playbook.
