Winslow was never the blocker Witten is. He would've been a damn good TE though, too bad for him his major injury was self inflicted.

Good riddance.  I want a mauler at TE that can block his $#@ off, and catch the occasional pass thrown his way.  Winslow was never that guy and never will be.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

He would have been the greatest TE ever if he didn't get hurt, and had a better attitude.

He would have been the greatest TE ever if he didn't get hurt, and had a better attitude, and weighed 40 more pounds, and could actually run block,

Of course the fact he's NOT healthy is either bad luck or somebody elses fault; had NOTHING to do with what goes on (or not) between his own ears... ::)

Schiano doesn't seem interested in that type of player.

What I find odd about Winslow is that his father was never that type of player. How is it that Winslow has this Prima Donna attitude? Very good player but as a person he has much to be desired.

I really would not argue with that statement. Winslow had great years here in Tampa and with the Browns. At his best he was a top 5 TE at times. It's just a shame that he never had the chance to play up to his physical ability.
