Sanchez has played well in the playoffs. He's not the reason they didn't make the Super Bowl in 2009 or 2010. In the loss to the Colts in 2009 he went 17-30 for 257 yards, 2 TD's and 1 INT and in the 2010 loss to the Steelers he went 20-33 for 233 yards, 2 TD's and zero INT's. It's really hard to imagine Freeman doing better than that.

It's really hard to imagine Freeman doing better than that.

Problem with that is Sanchez was the reason they were the #6 seed instead of the #1 seed. In 3 home games that year they lost 9-10, 0-9 and 6-10. Sanchez was 43/103, 346 yards, 0 TDs, and 3 INTs. 38.7 rating. If they would have won those games they would have been #1 seed.

Suddenly no playoffs for Sanchez

If the Jets had drafted Freeman, they would have won a SB by now. Instead, they're digging in Denver's scrapheap in an attempt to "motivate" Sanchez to concentrate on his job. It ain't gonna' help. Now they've got two guys who will never be elite QBs.

Maybe Rudd could play QB for them. He sure can't play MLB well enough to keep a job.

I disagree.  That being said, I do think Freeman is a better QB than Sanchez.  Though, this is obviously a thread about Sanchez's woman and not really at all about the QB's themselves.

The Ravens won a SB with Dilfer. The 2010 Jets could have won a SB with the 2010 Freeman. Sanchez was a handicap for his team. I doubt the Jets would make that mistake if they had a second chance.

Those stats are truly misleading, he was freaking awful in both those games.  He struggled to convert first downs and was extremely inconsistent so his team couldnt build any momentum.  He also hurt them in the regular season as someone noted.

Sanchez will start the season.    Tebow is the better QB though and will be the starter eventually.   Both are better than Freeman.

Sanchez will start week 1 and by midseason you have mark sucking it up, and Tebow getting 100 rush yards a game your gonna see Rex make a move. Lately Rex keeps referring to Tebow as his "number 2" qb.. Not his "backup"; to me that says alot.
