Just getting HI when your family member really gets sick is like getting home insurance the day a hurricane hits your area.....don't think insurance companies will fly with that.

Morgan here illustrates a large portion of the population in that they have no clue what this law is about.
Oh my...Please post oh man of wisdom and greatest intelligence. I will no doubt wait to hear...OBD

Spartan already covered it.  I'll post the quote for the slower among us.

Also, the Insurance Companies won't have a say in the matter. They won't be able to say no because it will be an existing condition.

Doubt if your FSA will make paying the fine/tax an eligible expense.

The tax savings afforded by the FSA will offset the cost of the fine.

Also, the Insurance Companies won't have a say in the matter. They won't be able to say no because it will be an existing condition.

the law can be amended to block those like yourself who try to usurp the system....

It's one of the center pieces of the legislation. Nobody can be refused insurance because of a pre-existing condition.

If Obama tries to change this, which he won't because it was one of things he demanded be in it, he would get literally lynched by his supporters.

Wasn't one the main points of this law to stop insurance companies from not insuring somebody because of an existing condition?

Do you know anything about this law/tax?

I don't believe so.

It will be interesting to see how the politicians counter those that attempt to gain medical care via fraud and by-passing the intent of the new health care system. They'll be weeded out.

No one has ever gotten around the government's ultra-efficient, economically feasible weed out system!

Social security and medicare are nothing like they were originally intended.  This new program, too, will metamorphose as these incompetent politicians put their "mitts" all over the program.

I really doubt Obama would block it due to his own mother dying of cancer when the insurance company wouldn't cover her because of it being a pre-existing condition. Folks pay attention this was the Catalysts of this whole thing. Every American wanted to get the quality health care they should have but Lobbyist have locked up with any way they could to stop this. Well now its in your face and people better start debating how to better serve America with better health care.
1) why is it that you can buy Car insurance across state lines and not health insurance....Lobbyist....who do the Lobbyist work for....you can figure this out....if they wanted this to change they would have worked on it thirty years ago...JMVHO...OBD

One could make jokes or comments about it but the lady just died and she had family so lets be respectful and leave it be. It's also got nothing to do with the subject matter.
