The topic of "has there been any teams to not win the superbowl" came to my mind . . . i found  this interesting account.

Minnesota Vikings (0-4)
Buffalo Bills (0-4)
Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)
Philadelphia Eagles (0-2)
Tennessee Titans (0-1)
San Diego Chargers (0-1)
Atlanta Falcons (0-1)
Carolina Panthers (0-1)
Arizona Cardinals (0-1)
Seattle Seahawks (0-1)
Cleveland Browns
Houston Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Detroit Lions

Technically the Chiefs and the Jets only won Super Bowls as AFL teams and never as NFL teams.

Prior to the 1970 merger of the AFL with the NFL the Eagles won 3 NFL championships('48, '49, '60), and the Vikings won one in '69. The Lions have won 4 NFL Championships: '35, '52, '53 and '57. Arizona Cardinals won one (in Chicago) in '47 and the Cleveland Browns won 4, the last one in 1964. The first Superbowl was held in January, 1967. Championships prior to that were not Super Bowls.

-  There's a few teams that havn't won a superbowl; although, they've won pre-superbowl championships.  Some teams are perhaps too new to expect having won a superbowl(the Bucs have won a superbowl, and we're not an original team going back to the 1930s or thereabouts.  Then, as stated, the Chiefs and Jets won Superbowls as AFL teams and not NFL teams.

Right now it's the Jags and Texans havn't quite established themselves(the Jags actually have a great history already; lots of talent, Mark Brunnel, McCardel/Jim Smith duo, Ot duos(Tony Boselli, and I'm forgetting the name of the other Ot they had), and of couse they had Coughlin as their first head coach.  Texans are just now starting to make some good history.

To say the least, the Bucs have little to be ashamed about; when they were first starting, they didn't have the drafts to get a better start like the Jags/Panthers, texans and so on did.  The Bucs came close to getting to the superbowl despite their initial predictable shaky start.  The 80s?  Lots of things happened there; players died, coaches got old, players of course decided Tampa was not the place to be (Steve Young and Bo Jackson).  90s, nobody needs to reiterate that history; still, I think I should note that Derrick Brooks is awestruck at the current Bucs potential above his era!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------then, there's the most superbowl appearances/wins teams!

Steelers and 49ers.  Steelers have won six but lost two; 49ers have won one less than the Steelers but havn't lost any.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bucs in all white tonight, jerseys and pants. It's the debut of the new Nike performance jerseys, as well.
