Lol ten pages ...maybe 1/2 the posts dealing with the topic.

I post less and less around here lately...  lots of garbage time.

FWIW -

Shipley is due diligence.   If he's healthy, he can be very good.

(I think Schiano said as much.)

For a team looking for a return specialist sure, but I just don't see it given the Bucs lack depth at RB, FB, OG, OT, DE, DT, LB, TE, and S.  I think this move is pointless and Underwood/Stroughter take up the last two roster spots anyways.

Meh...

6 of one, 1/2 dozen of another.... tomato, tomahto.

and SnB did say it... it's all about 5 and 5 likes him some Shipley.  ;)

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

Haynesworth pick up was tolerable given Bucs depth at DT was hit hard.  Lets look at some numbers just for fun.

Shipley's best avg: 11.5 , longest 65 yards.
Strougther's best  avg: 13.0, longest 35 yards
Parker's best avg: 13.9 longest 51 yards.

Shipley is pretty much a ho hum signing based on this alone.

Listening to the Bengholes Director of PLayer Personnel (Duke Tobin), and he is saying that it was tough to let Jordan Shipley go, and he was a lockerroom favorite, and how difficult it was to let him go, and he was let go as a result of the other receivers on the team.  But the kicker:

"He was gonna have a good career..."

Hopefully, Jordan Shipley hears this and repaints his bass boat in Tampa colors.  Hopefully, his knee is back to good...but for their GM to ditch him like he did almost sounded like he was trying to get him another chance elsewhere, as well as realizing the damage to his knee was rather severe (reducing his value).
