I tend to vote for candidates that aren't plutocrats, which immediately disqualifies about 99.9% of the Republican Party.

How can Democrats be engaging in class warfare against the rich and be plutocrats?

They are only at war with the other side's (Rs) rich. They don't have any problem with billionaires at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Walgreens, George Soros, Warren Buffett, etc. In fact, many 1% ers from those companies now hold cabinet positions. They just are against Oil money, coal money, or anyone "self made" that doesn't agree with them.

I am under no illusion that the D's do not cater to special interests as much as the R's do, but despite the number of billionaires that support Democrats, a list that could likely be written on a **CENSORED**tail napkin, the R's remain the preferred party of billionaires and multinationals. That's not a coincidence.

One has to look no further than Citizens United, a case decided by the majority conservative judiciary of the Supreme Court which says that corporations are people and that money is speech. If there was ever a more plutocratic decision made in the history of our nation, I'm unaware of it.

Do they own the rights to the word plutocrat? Sorry. Wasn't aware of that. Also, I didn't refer to our country as a Plutocracy, I referred to Republicans, and many conservatives I will add, as plutocrats.

Sounds like your beliefs line up almost perfectly with Gary Johnson . I strongly urge you to reconsider the "wasted vote" philosophy. That is exactly what the two parties want you to believe , and exactly why we have this endless cycle of dildos in office. If everyone just stopped and realized it's not a waste to vote outside the two party structure , in fact it's the the only way NOT to waste your vote , this country would finally begin to have REAL choices. 

Any vote R or O is a vote for status quo.

Had I not seen what happened to Ross Perot I would be inclined to believe you.  Voting for a third party will make no difference.  It didn't make a difference then and it won't this year. It is a wasted vote with the status how it is.  No amount of third party votes is going to change when the corruption is as deep as it is.

Only because too many people continue to have this same defeatist attitude .

Trust me, I am not at all confused as to what a Libertarian is. I suspect I know more about Libertarianism than a good number of self-proclaimed Libertarians do.

Libertarians want to eliminate the Fed, because they are smarter than most of the world's economists and know what's best. Libertarians want to eliminate Social Security and entitlements, because they are smarter than the vast majority of Americans that favor them and know what's best. Libertarians want to eliminate all regulations on pretty much everything, from food and medications to the environment, to health care and more because they know what's best for us because they are smarter than us.
