I actually hope we keep four RBs not including a FB (most likely Lorig) and I'd love to see that fourth guy be someone like Polk.

Madu just tweeted this:

Mossis Madu‏@MossisMadu

Ones disappointment is God's APPOINTMENT. He has a plan for us all so when he says no to one you wanted don't sweat it.

Let\\\\\\\'s Go Bucs!!

My sons best friend's father was also a backup rb for the sooners who went to camp with the bucs back in the 90s.  Obviously he didn't make it but has found success outside of football.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Bucs still go after Martinek after Friday.

Doubt it...

Too small and weak to be a NFL fullback...his run blocking is suspect....

On the personal side I feel bad for Madu, but as a Buc fan I am very happy he will not be on our roster. Just another Lumpkin imo.

Keep an eye on the Full back battle in St. Louis....

If the Ram don't carry two FBs,  either Ovie Mughelli or Brit Miller will become available....

5'11" 225lbs is a bit small to play FB, but I'm more interested in him for RB depth. Dude has good hands and runs a 4.5 flat. No reason to pigeon hole him as a FB. He may not be a world beater at this level, but if he had to step in due to injury, at least we'd know we have a hard working blue collar guy who can block, catch, and run well.

As far as the "weak" part of your comment....uh no. Dude is a rock. He has tree trunk legs, he runs hard as hell and he did 26 bench reps. I can agree he is undersized for a FB, but he's far from weak.

Yeah, I meant as depth for the RB's. Doesn't have the size to go toe to toe with LB's.

Man, it definitely looks that way, but I sure hope it's not true re: Madu.

Tauren Poole is also out there.  Was cut from the Panthers a few weeks back.

If Spoolios liked Madu, it's good the Bucs cut him.
