Rick Stroud‏@NFLSTROUD

@aplayatobenamed Draft pick compensation was conditional...one.... him making the team, for starters.

Winslow trade was conditional on him making the roster, GM Mark Dominik said. Price deal with the Bears was not.

Bucs will not receive a draft pick from the Seahawks for Winslow, unless he rejoins the team. Bucs will get a seventh for Brian Price

I was reading the Bears board, and they are pumped about Price.  Now?  Not so much.

I almost don't care about the lost pick for K2.

It was plenty just to dump him and his contract.

Soon he'll tire of carrying that ginormous ego around on those gimpy knees when he's trying to make a roster at vet minimum salary.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

Once they had a good chance to work him out, the Seachickens never planned to pay him full salary either.

Dang Browns for releasing Evan Moore! Just maybe Seahawks woulda kept Winslow, although they reportedly wanted him to take a pay cut...
