you can get a DUI on just about anything. Wheelchair, bike, horse, car.....any mode of transportation other than your own 2 feet or someone elses 2 feet....in which case you can still be charged will public intoxication.

Thanks for the buzz kill fish......pretty sure I could beat that charge if I'm not in a vehicle on the streets.....public intoxication I agree, but, not DUI........wake up America...

unless youre on private property, yes you can. Bicycle, horse or whatever. some vary from state to state, but most laws define as driving/using a vehicle while intoxicated. Most states define a vehicle as a mode of transportation capable of being used on public transportation routes, roads, and highways.

Unless a state has a specific law acknowledging that a you cant get a dui on any specific transportation, you can be charged and prosecuted for DUI and theres little a lawyer could do other than plea bargain.
