yes, this is sad but true about missing true and huge dedicated fan base, but "not deserving" are hard words, do not agree.

17K at the Trop last night, Rays vs Texas Rangers

There's got to be more to the attendance problems for both the MLB and NFL franchise other than saying that the fanbases "suck". That's too easy of an explanation.

I really think they should move the Rays to Tampa.   The team playing in St. Pete hurts attendance.

the game is just not interesting to as many people here in the area compared to other cities -there's nothing wrong w/ that.

100% not true unless you are talking about the number of people that live here compared to larger metropolitan areas ....
