In before Java claims it was an illegal hit.
Barron needs to learn to push a player out of bounds - for his own health. We need him for a full season.

It's not an illegal hit.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

I'm wondering how long Barron's brain cells will continue to function with hits like that. Smith will definitely have some residual effects, but if Barron does this indefinitely, he'll likely be slurring his speech like this guy.....

If you ever played football you would know a hit like that would do nothing to the brain because the impact was taking with the shoulders

The video I'm looking at shows helmet to helmet and we know that prolonged hits like that will do damage

Morgan is the same guy who talked about yelling the N word at Talib before a game, so he's one to talk about mental health.

A statement. And the results were Steve Smith only had 6 or 7 yards afterwards.

Winner/Baller = Mark Barron

This is what I think about the Glazers being cheap...

Not until after the hit.

I think you're incorrect.

Correct or incorrect the whistle had not blown. Is Barron supposed to assume Smith is out of bounds and stop and let him pass? No flag was thrown, To me the league either lets this hit go or penalize both players.

You mean like how Ronde tried just a second before the hit?  ;D

We'll see how long Barron lasts.

BTW, Jets All-Pro Darrelle Revis, has a concussion this past weekend after being kicked in the head. Doesn't take much to cause a concussion. He'll likely be off the field while recovering. Hurts his team when he's out with an injury.

I saw that and its the last time I read one of that idiot's articles. It wasn't a defenseless receiver, so I could care less if he launched himself head down for **CENSORED** sakes. Easterbrook is a **CENSORED**ing idiot.

All bias aside, he his column hasn't been very good the last few seasons...

I was surprised that wasn't a 15 yard penalty.   Definite helmet to helmet.   The refs missed that one.

Thought so when I saw it from my angle at RJS. I was relieved to see no flag.  My point is that Barron can't be reckless if he wants to stay off of IR.

I do not agree that Barron should be suspended for that cheap shot.   He just took another bad angle.   He's obviously a rookie.

The positives of Barron hammering receivers is that they'll think twice about catching the ball, about trying for that extra yard, about blocking him.

The negatives of his hits is his own health. Ask Polamalu how many concussions he's had.
