Let's talk about some positives from today's game. Foster came up with 12 tackles and an interception and looked to be in the right position most of the day. Pretty good for a guy who has a lot of concerns going into the start of the season.  Also, once again David looked to have another solid game. He's looking pretty quick on the field and the closest thing to a sure tackler we have.

Played great. Was a force in the middle.

The linebackers looked pretty good today...the rest of the defense...not so much.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Played good.  Cost us a TD, have not rewatched it yet, on the Victor Cruz 80 yards.  He ran right by Manning and just swiped at the ball.  Manning did not even have to step up.

Suprisingly I have been more impressed with Black this year.

The linebackers did look pretty solid today. Other than Cruz's long TD over Ronde, the safeties looked good too. Defensive line was man handled against the pass and the cornerbacks were scorched all day long.

Bowers being hurt hurts our DL and I still think Price would be more effective than our current back up DTs same goes to Akoye

He gave up 41 points and you guys are celebrating!!! lol

Our secondary gave up 41 points. He played hard in the middle, at the LOS, and in his coverage.

I can't complain about the linebackers.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Foster brought a very physical presence today.
Linebackers so far so good.
D-Line and secondary are still in need of improvement.

\\\"Keep adding to that defense!!!\\\"

Linebacker play from last year to this year is night and day.  Foster played well.  Hopefully he'll stay injury free.

That's because Schiano keeps him off the field as much as possible... He's only on the field in our base defense, which we don't run too often... The drive David got hurt he had to play, and you saw the Giants able to run the football down our throats
