Even those 2 articles you quote had to nuance the **CENSORED** out of it to fit their narrative. Like yourself they followed the line of:
"If when he said income taxes he actually meant income taxes then what he said is true, but if when he said income taxes he really meant ..... then ........"
That's not what they said at all. You are trying to create your own narrative to fit your own characterization of his words. Not surprising. Not convincing either.
The part you are referencing is simply stating that the people he characterized as paying no income tax and mooch off the system actually do pay other taxes. And the article is simply separating that 47% that Mittens, and you apparently, choose to lump together and inaccurately characterize into their actual demographic. You know this of course. No need for me to point it out to you. But go ahead and keep playing the loyal soldier.
Your right, sorry, they said this:
"Romney's headline assertion that 47% of Americans pay no income tax is almost correct, assuming he was referring to federal income tax. "
and
"The 47 percent of Americans who he says "pay no income tax." So is it true that 47 percent of Americans don't pay income tax? Essentially, yes, according to the the Tax Policy Center, which provides data showing that in 2011, 46.4 percent of American households paid no federal income tax. The same data shows, however, that nearly two-thirds of households that paid no income tax did pay payroll taxes. And most people also pay some combination of state, local, sales, gas and property taxes."
