20 TDs...0 INTs this season.

He could solidify #1 overall if he continues to play this way, especially with Texas, TCU, K. St. and OU coming up on the schedule.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

If we end up with the #1 overall pick in the draft then yes, we need to go qb.

RG3 faced such tough defenses. I think 8 TD's is worthy of praise, and like chace said it should be good to see what happens the rest of the year.

Yea, I might look into seeing if any relatively cheap seats are available for No.9 WVU v. No. 12 Texas next weekend, here in Austin. That should be a fun game to watch.

I almost never say this, but it's less Smith and more the system.  Dana Holgorson has come as close to perfecting offensive football as any coach this side of Bill Walsh.  His system is almost flawless.

That's fair. It will be a little more credible though if he is able to keep playing at a high level when he faces the better teams of the big 12.

I'd prefer Freeman over Geno Smith.    Forget him.
