I don't think you can have enough quality OL, DL, or CB - that would be my focus.

Yeah, I agree with that, but I don't think Talib will be gone next year. I think the plan will be to go forward with Talib and Wright as the top two corners.

Unless Schiano changes his scheme, I don't think that's a recipe for success

Easily his best game so far...hope he continues it and earns that fat check.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

I like Wright more than most, but I think that was more about Quinn sucking than anything else. We'll see how he does this week against Colston. I expect a good performance from E, but Colston to still make some plays.

We'll see. I fully expect them to let Talib test the market unless he wants to sign a budget deal. I think a lot depends on how he and the team performs the rest of the year against some really good passing attacks once he's back.

I agree. Thought Quinn was late with many of his throws to Bowe. Many of them was bad ball placement.

Ideally, we go out get either a stud CB or DE in FA, draft the other in the first and a tight end in the second.

4/21/2013 Two thirds of the Earth is covered by water. The other third is covered by Revis.

I just don't think a TE is important enough in the offense to take in the second round.

7 of Freeman's 8 TDs are to Mike Williams or Vincent Jackson. I don't think TE is all that important in this scheme either. I think we need one, but not early.

Refusing to give credit , even when it's due , just crosses you over in to Hater-ville.

possibly, but maybe schiano doesnt trust clark's playmaking ability anymore? i cant say i remember him using the TE at rutgers much either.

to me its criminal to waste a position on the field. if youve got a spot that can catch the ball you need to integrate it into the gameplan. a TE is a great chainmover and red zone target and id love to see us use them more often

I think we are moving away from the Winslow type "over sized receiver" tight ends and moving towards big inline run blocking tight ends that can also catch a ball here and there. Those type of tight ends don't usually go very early in the draft. This Nate Byham kid we just picked up is the type of guy I think Schiano wants.
