Assume that we pick up Alfred Morris in the 6th, who would you have picked instead of Doug Martin?

Just to make this thread easier, assume that we still trade up into the first, and still end up picking everyone else that we did except Keith Tandy.

I think Janoris Jenkins would have been a good option, but he's not exactly a Schiano guy, so that was never an option.

Anyone who wasn't on Jdouble's short list....

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

What's wrong with that opinion? Alfred Morris has outplayed Doug Martin and he was drafted 5 rounds lower. It's just a fun thread to see who people would have picked instead.

Doug Martin

It's been four games and he has been average. Settle down children.

A. Morris does look impressive but there is nothing wrong with Martin. This is coming from someone who didn't care about drafting him. Just like Freeman (large debate), Blount, D. Clark, and many others, they are not being used right. Why continue to run Martin up the middle know his strength is going outside.

If you are ready to draw conclusions after the first 4 games, you must have thought the Bucs hit one out of the park with the Cadillac Williams selection back in 2005.

Except the fact that he is freakishly small ....

While i don't think we're using him in a role best suited to his skillset, my gripe with him is how easily he seems to go down.

It's not too early to complain about Martin. RBs require the least amount of time to develop. RBs drafted in the first round should at least average a 4.0 ypc regardless of the oline or system.
