Pass rush is 2nd in the league with 25 sacks, ranked 12th verse the run and 10th verse the pass. Yards per game that is.

Freeman is the best QB that the Bucs have ever had. You can hate on him all you like, but it's true. I don't even know how anyone is arguing this. As if the Bucs have some rich history of excellent QB's. Who the hell is if he isn't? Journeymen Brad Johnson or Jeff Garcia? Come on now...

Why all the brad johnson love? Honestly? He was the king of the 2 runs and a RB swing pass.

He threw 22 TD's in 16 games and one of those games was a 5 TD fluke. Take that out of the mix and the guy threw 17 TDs in 15 games. I mean come on people, the team was severely hampered by the offense that he was leading. We scored 48 points in the super-bowl but only behind 3 defensive TDs. Go back and look at the stat lines, the guy was by no means a dominating QB. He was a game manager.

So if you want to crown him because he was the QB on our only super-bowl champion, go ahead. If you want to crown him because you think he was a better QB, well back away from the Elmer's guy.

And that was at the peak of Brad Johnsons career. Freeman threw for more yards, more TDs and had a better passer rating in his 2ND YEAR!!! Than Brad Johnson did 10 years into it. It's not a question of who is better but rather can we get a team even close to what BJ had? Because if we do Freeman will deliver multiple championships.
