I think that Freeman is certainly the best QB the bucs have ever had.

He's got nothing on The Bull.

If Freeman had been starting on the '02-'03 squad, we would still be in search of our 1st championship.

Very true, but in all fairness he only would have been 14 years old.

Did I not mention the time machine?....my bad.

Pass rush is 2nd in the league with 25 sacks, ranked 12th verse the run and 10th verse the pass. Yards per game that is.

Draft Aaron Donald

Until someone else wins a Super Bowl, Brad Johnson is the best QB in Bucs history.

Or is he simply a sufficient QB on the best bucs team ever?

Along for the ride.

Freeman is the best QB that the Bucs have ever had. You can hate on him all you like, but it's true. I don't even know how anyone is arguing this. As if the Bucs have some rich history of excellent QB's. Who the hell is if he isn't? Journeymen Brad Johnson or Jeff Garcia? Come on now...

Why all the brad johnson love? Honestly? He was the king of the 2 runs and a RB swing pass.

He threw 22 TD's in 16 games and one of those games was a 5 TD fluke. Take that out of the mix and the guy threw 17 TDs in 15 games. I mean come on people, the team was severely hampered by the offense that he was leading. We scored 48 points in the super-bowl but only behind 3 defensive TDs. Go back and look at the stat lines, the guy was by no means a dominating QB. He was a game manager.

So if you want to crown him because he was the QB on our only super-bowl champion, go ahead. If you want to crown him because you think he was a better QB, well back away from the Elmer's guy.

Yeah, Brad doesn't look so good if you don't count his best games...

Idiot.

Illuminator is a good poster. He sticks to his guns and makes good points. Some don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like that.

Brad Johnson QB Rating
2001: 77.7
2002: 92.9
2003: 81.5
2004: 79.5 (Got benched or hurt, don't remember, don't care)

And that was at the peak of Brad Johnsons career. Freeman threw for more yards, more TDs and had a better passer rating in his 2ND YEAR!!! Than Brad Johnson did 10 years into it. It's not a question of who is better but rather can we get a team even close to what BJ had? Because if we do Freeman will deliver multiple championships.

Well Genius if you take out the best and worst games it gives you a better idea of how he really played. So yeah. If I delete your dumbest post, you still look like a moron because all of your posts are stupid. So it helps to get a true sense of who the person is. He threw 5 TDs in one game. Most of the time he threw for 1-2 TDs. Get it?

I can see how someone such as yourself would believe that, based on the fact that so far he's delivered squat.

But if you take out the game against Seattle, his 2nd year stats don't look as good.

See how this works?

PS This thread is comical.
