If Dilfer could , anyone can...

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Freeman is an almost 25 yr old SB winning QB.

Call me the half empty guy, but i stick to facts. Freeman has not won a SB yet, no even in 2010, and he is still 24 years old, too young to rent a car or drive a taxi. Until february i read the 'almost' as a 'not'.

Freeman is 24 yrs old and had 10-12 years left in this league barring some crazy injury. Do not forget that when we drafted him, he was considered a guy to have a very high ceiling but also a guy that was furthest from that ceiling. He is just scratching the surface of what he can be. Personally I think he'll become more and more comfortable and he'll get better and better. We see him tucking the ball and running for 1st downs now when nothing is open instead of forcing it. In my mind, that is a great thing as he seems to be comfortable enough to see the defense, say nope, nothing there and get what he can. I like it.

interesting stat

QB Josh Freeman led the NFL in average passing yards per game in October with 336.7.
 (Yahoo! Sports)

higher than brees, manning, brady, rodgers

You'd be hard pressed to choose any QB over Freeman recently. I need him to do it for several years so that trust level that fans have in brady, brees, rogers can grow but he's rollin' with the big boys right now for sure.

What last straw?    How many playoffs has he led the team to?

This Panthers game will determine which QB is the worst in the NFC South - Freeman or Newton.    Both Brees and Ryan are far better QB's than either of them.

Freeman has played great so far. All he needs to do is keep doing what hes doing and keep getting better. Haters are gonna hate.
