Whether a particular player considers Schiano's "control" as a bad thing or a good thing really comes down to a players mindset. Does he view coach's control as an attempt to HELP him by eliminating distractions to his preparation for the next game, or does he resent the coach for being overly controlling? If a player WANTS to improve and be successful, he'll welcome any help from his coach he can get. And that's EXACTLY how a good coach should be; willing to do ANYTHING to help each and every player be his best. If other stuff is more important to a player.... well, most if not all those players are gone...

The question is....does Schiano initiate the spankings or does someone else do that?

And how long do they have to stand in the corner during "time out?"

Sounds like he is very concerned with the attention level of his players in meetings and game planning sessions.....hmmmmmm "attention to details" obsessed. Players taking adderall. Not saying he facilitated it but was  the environment he fostered the motivation for Talib and Wright to take adderall? Just a thought. BTW, Im a military guy (former boot camp instructor) who has served the last 19 years living and preaching attention to detail. I get it. Just wonder if Talib and Wright thought this drug was necessary for them to "keep up".

I love to see the trolls complain about anything that seems to be helping the team.

You might want to take some Adderall. It could help you with your deletion problem.

If everyone liked the same kind of noodle, there would only be one kind of noodle, now wouldn't there be? At least Schiano gives them a choice of movies. They can either watch "The Junction Boys" or "Knute Rockne All American ".

he should rather limit adderall to some of those idiots. I am really sick of finding out every year how empty boneheads such as T-Jax, Talib and now Wright screw our season

I'm sure Schiano is pissed when he gets news of the drug test coming back positive on his players.

it has been proven that all people can focus and execute better in a controlled environment. However it does stunt creativity

If someone tells you what to eat and when to eat it, then leaves it to you to insure that it happens, that's a pain in the ass. But if they set everything up and handle all of the details, so all you have to do is eat, that's a fricken  Carnival Cruise. You can worry about other things. Like picturing your performance in the upcoming game, a proven method for increased performance.

Yup. Hes only going to bring in guys who welcome getting better and are willing to do some things to do it. Schiano knows some things that will help his team get better. Not every team does it but better doing it than not doing it. It makes these guys better people and with that better players. Who doesnt want that?
