Barron isn't living up to the 7th overall pick so playing better than him shouldn't be any thing big. Has Claibornes play been better than Jenkins or Heyward? I'm interested in that.

The larger point is a CB is more valuable than a Safety in the NFL, and that's where the Bucs messed up. If you pick a Safety in the top 10, he better be the second coming of Ed Reed. That's going to be tough for Barron to live-up to.

Just at CB I'd rather have Jenkins or Heyward.Exactly . If you want to question Barron that is fine . It's merited at this point . But don't bring up Claiborne , the guy blows so far .Unsurprisingly, you're woefully uninformed. Unlike Barron, Claiborne's play has been much better over the last month.Barron isn't living up to the 7th overall pick so playing better than him shouldn't be any thing big. Has Claibornes play been better than Jenkins or Heyward? I'm interested in that. Not even close . Anti-java claims we win hands down if we had claiborne . Let's see how Claiborne faired when HE faced the Eagles...."Cowboys rookie CB Morris Claiborne was flagged for five penalties in the Week 10 win over the Eagles.Opponents are attacking Claiborne and avoiding Brandon Carr. The No. 6 overall pick has been thrown at 39 times this season, giving up 24 catches for 306 yards and four touchdown"http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/49839263/Excellent take...He is still better than that dumpster fire we have at CB.

Bucs win.So you are claiming E.J. Biggers would still be the #1 corner if Claiborne was on the team , and Claiborne would be covering Gorrer's man? That says lot about him.
BTW, Anti-java ...are you also prepared to subtract Lavonte David's 9 tackles and 1 sack , and Doug martin's 128 yards and a TD in order to gain Moron Claiborne's mediocre coverage ? Because you'd be losing that also, on top of Mark Barron.Still garantee the win ?
DJ, Are you another who thinks those players only could be obtained if the bucs drafted Barron?
Quote from: dbucfan on December 09, 2012, 08:05:58 PMDJ, Are you another who thinks those players only could be obtained if the bucs drafted Barron? COULD they have ? ....sure.... We also COULD have obtained Tom Brady.....can you prove it , and are the odds as good? The answer the is no. There's only 1 way we know it happens for sure and for an acceptable price. To assume it all plays out exactly the same if we stay at #5 is ridiculous.
