As long as the Republican party maintains socially conservative politics, Democrats will win the White House.

As long as the Republican party maintains anti-environment politics, Democrats will win the White House.

As long as the Republican party defends the top 1%, Democrats will win the White House.

As long as the Republican party maintains their extreme Christian agenda, Democrats will win the White House.

Republicans can get mad all they want, but nothing is going to change as long as they stay the same. I hope you continue to blame Romney. This means you are not changing your philosophies, which means us Dems will keep kicking your ass in Presidential elections.

Oh, it will change another 4 years after Obama's 2nd term starts? We won 8 of 9 swing states. Sorry, but as the older, white baby boomers continue to die out, that means less and less Reps.

I believe that people are getting too many handouts from the government (not healthcare or contraceptives) but definitely in welfare and workman's comp. I think Republicans have some good points economically for a less controlling American government, but unfortunately their other politics get in the way of some of their good politics and that kills their demographics in elections.

The reason is because my kind of religious extremism is responsible for 95% of charitable aid in Africa, Asia and the Middle east while the UN debate there is a problem.
The reason is because my kind of religious extremism donates upwards of 30% of their income to their churches and charitable causes while your kind of Progressive politics think that OTHER people should pay their "fair share.".
The reason is because my kind of religious extremism gets off their asses and regularly feed the poor while your kind of Progressive politics complain that the Govt should be doing more.
The reason is because my kind of religious extremism gives food and clothes to "migrant workers" because they are in need, while your kind of Progressive politics are more concerned about giving them the vote.

And these, are only the things that I, an allegedly right wing nutjob according to some, is involved in. That is why we will never die out.  We care, but we believe that if you really do care get off your fat ass and stop blaming someone else!

Love the mention of charity work. I appreciate things done voluntarily to help others , rather than by force. One is TRUE compassion , the other is theft in the name of compassion.

I doubt I agree with many of your social beliefs , but anyone telling you you have to be more like them or become extinct is using scare tactics. All it takes is a swing of about 5 or less percentage points in the swing states and you guys are in office again. Hardly an insurmountable obstacle. It won't require any changing at all , just let Obama's doomed collectivist economic policies do the work for you. The cliff is up ahead.

The image of the liberal Democratic party was run into the ground and masterfully stigmatized during the time of the W administration.

Now all of a sudden the country has a two term Democratic-" Socialist-Communist" president. 

Don't ever kid yourself that it won't swing the other way.

What the Democrats have realized is that free stuff gets votes. The more free stuff they can give, the more votes they can buy. There was an article in Pravda I think it was, that spoke about illiterate American voters. How can you argue against that when the American voters vote FOR Obama and all he represents, and then say in a Gallup poll  less than a month later that they don't believe the Federal Govt should get involved in and run healthcare. How dumb and contradictory is that? What it comes down to is many Americans currently believe that benefits and entitlements should be cut because we cannot afford them, except for the ones THEY are getting because they are right and just. Republicans will fight a rear guard action, but eventually will fail. And to blunt, we will eventually run out of money and then the tide will turn because even in the folly of self involvement, people will realize the road we are walking on is unsustainable.

In the UK, they raised the upper tax rate to 50% for millionaires because they were not 'paying their fair share." The end result is that the number of millionaires paying taxes fell from 16,000 to 6,000. Instead of all this additional revenue, they lost 7 Billion pounds. Go figure. Apparently the millionaires either moved or stopped working so hard. Who wud have thunk that? Definitely not CBW because according to him increasing tax rates doesn't alter peoples behavior.

Wait till they bring in the wealth tax. Boy is that gonna cause a few issues!

Repeatedly calling himself one of the “100 most important people in the art industry,” Beck adopted a phony French accent and began painting clothes onto fine art nudes, seemingly under the impression that he was making a statement about artistic freedom.

Finally, he pulled out a bottle of yellow liquid he claimed to be urine and dunked a figurine of Obama into it, in an apparent homage to a 1989 photograph by artist Andres Serrano, depicting a figure of Jesus Christ in a jar of urine. “It’s a mason jar with a little bit of pee-pee in it, uh?” Beck said. “…This is when an icon and art come together.”


“Now some will say that all Glenn Beck did is put the president in a jar of pee-pee,” Beck went on. “While technically correct, yes, I prefer to call this work of art by its more appropriate and professional title. I like to call this, ‘Flobama.’ Sure we can dumb it down for the masses of little people so they can understand. Yes, we have Obama in pee-pee. Mmm? Oui? Yes? This can be yours for a bargain price of $25,000.”

He added that if someone buys it, he’ll make another with First Lady Michelle Obama, this time in a “skinny bottle,” which he said somehow represents her “little abs.”

The whole thing was supposed to make a point about how art should be protected under the Constitution no matter whose feelings it hurts. Trouble is, the message sort-of gets lost amid what may go down as one of Beck’s most bizarre performances to date.
