why would you have a fire schiano screenname?  seems he's in the running for coach of the year?

because the OP is an overreacting fool TOOL. im sure he made that SN after the second game

Actually Dex - you're pretty damned near spot-on sir...

Dino - You wouldn't know a football player, a football coach, or for that matter - what a Marshall Faulkin' FOOTBALL is... even as it eases it's way (with little effort) through your sphincter...!

Yep, we can declare him the bust of all busts after just 9 games.
No player ever struggles in their first half a season do they, if he hasn't reached Hall of Fame levels yet he's a wasted pick.

Ronnie Lott was drafted with the #7 pick in the draft as well.   But he was absolutely DOMINANT by this point in his NFL career.   Barron may be a bust.

WOW, that post is so full of fail.
Lott was drafted 8th overall and played 4 years at CB before moving to safety.
Sure you don't want to compare him to a player at a different position that was drafted in a different spot?
How about #6 overall LB Vernon Gholston?

God forbid the rookie has a bad half.

Java's schtick doesn't bug me as much as it does others, but it's hilarious when he eats it while trolling.

Nice pwnage.

Yep, because if Barron isn't ballin' like the most dominant player ever at his position, he COULD be a bust! Wow, going out on a limb with a daring prediction, there.

On the flip side of your thinking, at least David looks like he's going to make Brooks' career look modest.

That's right.   The Bucs were rumored to want to pick Lott at #7, but took Hugh Green since he slid.   And Lott was taken one spot later.

Lott was dominant immediately.  And the fact that he was taken one spot later than Barron is even more of an insult to Barron.   Could Barron play corner as well as safety?   Not likely.

So a player who made the mid season pro bowl team is a pile of crap? Ok, gotcha, cut him now.

2 non-effort plays in a row resulting a huge touchdown. Now will Greggy pooh have the GUTS to bench Barron for his severe lack of effort???? I doubt it... Get Barron off the field and into the locker room.

Who are you suggesting to start in his place?

You do realise that comparing players by draft position is a complete joke don't you?
Every single player ever drafted needs to be a Hall of Famer/Pro Bowler if they don't want to be considered a bust because John Randle, **CENSORED** Lane, Willie Wood, Kurt Warner, Warren "the Racist" Moon, Joe Perry were never selected.
