Richard Seymore had one QB hurry vs. Tampa, but he plays inside for Oakland. And he wouldn't be considered a top 10 DE. It was Matt Shaughnessy and Andre Carter that Penn was going up against vs. Oakland.

Also, if I remember correctly, the sack that Carter had was as much on Freeman as it was on Penn. Finally, I find it funny that you can criticize a guy when your running back had over 250 yards rushing mostly on your side. Shaughnessy had one assist for the day and Carter had two tackles and the one sack. I'd say that Penn did his job on that day.
Penn has played well overall.
Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

The Bucs are on a tear, primarily from running game and DEEP passing (the type that takes time to develop) and yet our LT sucks? ROFLMAO. I have not even bothered to look, but let me guess Buggs is one of the guys saying Penn sucks and he is using "stats" like "hurries" "breathed on QB" "Pocket shape maintained" "weight to sack ratio" and more
I lol'd at *breathed on QB*.Yea, no one has come close to saying that Penn sucks.Apparently, when the Bucs have a winning record/win a few games in a row, criticism is considered taboo by some.#defensivehomers
Donald Penn vs. the Panthers: 7 QB hurries and 2 QB hits for a total of 9 QB pressures.Add that to the 4 Total Pressures vs. Oakland and 6 Total Pressures vs. Minny, his mid-season fall-off is upon us.
Biggs has always had it out for Penn for some strange reason. He's not exactly an unbiased observer.
