Reporting Justin Pawlowski

On Monday, Gary Shelton and I asked listeners to compile a list of 50 reasons why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a better organization this year than they did a year ago.

During a typical talk show, we usually have time to get to 20-30 phone calls.  Since we only accepted listeners who called in to add to the list, we received a very impressive number of 26 reasons why the Buccaneers were better as an organization this year than last year.

We will continue compiling the list throughout the week to see how long it takes to reach 50.  At this pace, we should near 50 reasons in the next day or so, which would be quite the feat.

Here is a list of reasons already mentioned:

-Run Defense
 -Discipline
 -Josh Freeman
 -Doug Martin
 -Coaching
-Having a 3rd WR like Tiquan Underwood
 -Aggressive Style from the WRs
 -Offensive Line
-Balanced offense to keep opposing defenses off-balance
 -Depth
-Expectations by coaches placed on players
 -Raheem Morris is Not Here
 -Swagger
 -Overall Linebacker Play
 -Turnover Margin
-Drafting by Mark Dominik and his staff
 -The Glazers Opening Their Wallets
 -Attitude
 -Customer Service
-Cutting/Trading Players like Kellen Winslow, Brian Price, Tanard Jackson, etc…
-Maneuvering in Draft and getting Mark Barron, Doug Martin, and Lavonte David
 -Special Teams
 -Gameday Experience
 -Veteran Leadership
 -Getting Breaks
 -Leonard Johnson

Reasons added on Tuesday:

-Work Ethic
-Freeman and the WRs being on the same page
 -Learning
 -Gerald McCoy Health

Start thinking of more reasons why the Buccaneers are a better organization this season as opposed to last season, and call us to add your reason to the list.

Mark was drafting Good, if not great, the whole time. We just couldn't see that because of the bad "radio" waves.

I just hope, that with the FA's playing good (nicks was and vj is) and the move to climb the draftboards for martin, the owners will now let dom claim whoever he wants with his allowance from the owners. Falcons did the same, and it's worked out for their team. There has to be some advantage somewhere in the nfcs, and I believe that while everyone else is cap-deadlocked would be the time to strike them down with your wallet.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, next to atl, Tampa has the most all-around talent team-wise after the vj/nicks signings in the nfcs. Heck, if they keep playing like this, even better. They can prove that in the next oncoming games by beating atl. Its literally a case where the playoffs are in their hands. They control their whole fate from this point on. If they can keep this offense humming, I don't see why they can't beat everyone in their remaining games (and yes, even the bronco's can be out scored).

1. Serious practices during the week
2. A coaching staff of TEACHERS who are passionate about football
3. A no nonsense HC who is an absolutely outstanding communicator. When he speaks, everyone listens and UNDERSTANDS what is meant.... or they are outa here.

Geneva.
Unafraid to try players at different positions to get the best 11 on the field.
No more trips across the pond.
Shots down field, early and often.
Balls.

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.
