Sunday, the Buccaneers head into Carolina and may be saying a phrase heard far too many times this season in regards to the offensive line - "next man up." O-Line coach Bob Bostad has made sure no matter the personnel, the line will play hard.

The only exception is Penn.   Did you see the way Jared Allen rag dolled him on that sack?

How this OL isn't in shambles and is able to protect Josh and open holes for Martin is beyond me.  Props to Bostad.

Penn had his way with Allen for about 90% of that game. But yes, he did get the best of him on that play.

It is kinda hard to imagine a line coach doing a better job under the circumstances. Lock him up long term please!

The problem with successful assistant coaches and coordinators is that other teams see it and snag them away with promotions. Hard to believe that Coach Schiano seemed to have quickly assembled his staff and didn't have exactly all the assistants that he wanted.

Lucky for him.   He probably wanted to bring in a bunch of losers.

bostad certainly is using a lot of ducttape, but it's working for him.

bostad and the OL are doing an excellent job. All things considered, they should in theory, be beaten down with the loss of both DJ and Nicks.

It'd be interesting to see who and what might get offered to Bostad.  As good as he is as a line coach, does anyone see him getting a promotion to OC anywhere?  Or do y'all think he would be in line for a HC gig at the college level?  Hopefully we can hang on to him for a few more years.

Wonder if Schiano still wants McNulty on his staff. If so, who would he displace?

I wouldn't say they laid an egg.  They certainly got beat pretty bad for a portion of the game, but at the end, they completely dominated at the point of attack.

They got it together in TE last 50 seconds of regulation and then in overtime.... They got it done when it counted!

Reality check.

Going into our game Sunday, the Panthers were ranked 3rd in the league with 25 sacks. Our rag tag line did allow a lot of pressure but only gave up one sack on the day and got 138 yards for Martin. I'd say that is pretty ucking amazing.

Draft Aaron Donald

Their going to get that ass kicked in Denver. DOOMSday and Von Milly are going to be wrecking havoc all day.
