I would think that win gives the players a lot of confidence.

Hopefully they think...we can win ANY game.  No need to be intimidated by any team.   I am hoping this carries over to the Falcon game.

Freeman let everybody down today. He just stunk it up out there. martin isn't much better. He's been "blah" for the past 2 games and just now fumbled the ball costing us crucial points.

Looks like the wave we were riding has disintegrated.

I understand being disgusted at that point in the game but to turn on Freeman and Martin after both had (at that point) a bad game?

I didn't "turn" on anybody. I just said how I felt about their performances. I said Freeman let us down TODAY... and I said Martin had been blah up until that point for the past 2 games and mentioned the "fumble" which cost us crucial points. Where do you get "turning" on them from that?

Now if I had said "freeman and martin are garbage, fire them please!"... I could understand you saying I turned on them... but I didn't say anything even remotely similar to that.

I basically said they were sucking... and they WERE.

Anywho, they redeemed themselves. Thank God.

I love these game day threads. Always enjoy going through them after comeback wins.

When I'm watching the game at the bar, I'm not posting on, or looking at the board.

I admitted that after Carolina's last TD, I thought to myself (and texted to my friend) that the game was all but over and our playoff hopes were dashed.
But I never give up and think it's really over. Until the clock hits 00:00.

If you folks are telling me you didn't think the game was over after the Panthers scored the touchdown in the 4th your crazy, I held out hope till then and thought it was over. Glad I was wrong.
