He's averaging 100 yards a game on the ground and 131.9 total yards rushing and receiving a game. He's on pace for 2,110 yards from scrimmage.

I think there was a general feeling that the kid was going to be a good back, possibly even a top 5ish back. Don't think anyone expected him to become one his rookie season.

Realistically this kid could end up with over 1600 yards on the ground. That's insane.

Dougie has been playing hard all season, even when he was off a little when the season started. The thing that has changed for him is the speed of the game. It's slowed down for him now and he knows where to go with the ball. NC thought to contain his big runs and big plays by the wr's by playing a prevent defense. It slowed down the bucs offense until they got tired in the fourth.After that, it was all about conserving time and making plays count.

 Any team that plays the bucs should know they are especially a threat in the fourth. They have had plenty of experiance coming from behind, and now they have the talent to do it.

I loved this him coming out of college but I didn't think dude would be this good. I questioned Coach Schiano's decision of starting him over LGB, but I was dead wrong. Good call coach and great draft by Dominik. Congrats to Doug Martin on his achievement.
