Gotta be the best Buc FA signing ever.   Nicks is great, but this guy is making Free and Mike so much better.

Maybe down the road, i'll feel differently but right now I've gotta go with Hardy....but Vjax is running a very close second.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

Better for him not to. Everything he says is time-wasting crap that he never gets right anyway.

I was hoping vj could be the megatron of the nfcs,..he's not, but is damn sure a bigtime threat. Pretty close IMO.

Is it me ...or is VJ what we were all hoping for years ago when we traded the house for Keshawn Johnson?

Keyshawn was never really a deep threat guy. He was a possession receiver that was able to get open easily over the middle and had good hands.

The biggest problem with Keyshawn though was we didnt have a strong QB. Brad was solid the SB year but he was average and efficient that made few mistakes. And that's all we really needed back then with the kind of defense we had. We didnt need to score a bunch of points.

good post - I was overseas and only could listen to internet radio to follow, but can you tell me was Keyshawn the type of teammate that V-Jax seems to be - a mentor to other players? I always thought Keyshawn was Meshawn, but that was because of some of his interviews after games while on the Bucs and NYJ.

Funny.....as much as people like yourself complain to Mark Cook and Scott Reynolds about Java, that you can't keep yourself from bringing him into legitimate threads about our best players.

Bringing him in?? Good god, actually read the thread Morgana. Just one more example of you making a fool of yourself.

VJax is most certainly a good influence on Mike Will and others on the team. It's refreshing to see an athlete as talented as him, enjoying his home, family, and not dealing with the drama of being out in clubs / bars.

Sign him for life Bucs!

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Thanks for posting that video.....very cool depiction of a humble hard-working guy.

And to the other off-topic shenanigans....Jiminy Christmas....I had no idea he'd been hauled in for DUI....that one flew under the radar.
