we need another option - it's pretty clear the Freeman experiment isn't working - got to cut our losses

¿Dónde está BucsWTF?

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Amazing isn't it.  In 55 starts, nothing has changed... (with sarcasm) - but he's only 24.

Strengths: Elite frame with excellent height and in great condition ... No questions about arm strength; shows elite arm strength on 15- to 20-yard stick throws (outs, posts) ... Uses nice touch and throws a catchable ball ... Can throw the ball on the run ... Very low interception percentage from sophomore to junior year; Solid decision maker ... Nice footwork and has a quick drop ... Outstanding feel for the pass rush ... Great mobility and can gain yardage with his feet ... Extremely high upside.

Weaknesses: Accuracy was abysmal in junior year ... Locks on to receivers and shows below-average field vision ... Wildly inconsistent; runs hot and cold ... Questionable leadership ... Intangibles will go under the microscope by pro scouts who can talk to KSU players and coaches.

Summary: Freeman's physical tools makes him a near lock for the first day of the NFL Draft, because of his physical tools, with first-round potential. Personally, I would have to know more about Josh Freeman the person (character, work ethic, leadership) to give a more accurate grade. Freeman is a classic example of a Boom or Bust prospect.

Player Comparison: JaMarcus Russell.Russell had questionable intangibles coming out of LSU with a cannon for a right arm (Freeman's arm is not as strong as Russell's). His accuracy in the NFL is horrendous, but he still shows amazing upside.

The title of this thread should be changed to "Is there ANY proof Freeman's A TRUE Franchise QB...?"

How do you guys justify buying tickets?  What thinking person is going to buy season tickets knowing what will happen?

Over unity of our high-priced accessory is to be utilized all the time in order to experiment with their own your well-being boosting merits. People who cheer for the team, and not the record.

Josh Freeman is a franchise Quarterback.

He's NOT a hall of fame Quarterback.

But,  he's the best Quarterback this franchise has ever had.

He reminds me of Jim Plunkett.

Plunkett was all about DOWNTOWN.  But he couldn't hit a full sized Buick two doors down.

Josh Freeman is a franchise Quarterback.

And he's a Head Coaches ultimate challenge.

 :)

Jim Plunkett's career completion was 52.5%

He couldn't toss a screen pass if his life depended on it.

But he could hit a Vincent Jackson or a Mike Williams for 60 yards while he was clipping his toenails.

Plunkett won TWO Superbowl's.

What we have is a Coaching challenge NOT a ... QB problem.

Maybe Coach Schiano needs to put his toes on the line.
