Love the draft . Love Doug Martin & Lavonte David obviously. Barron has been very underwhelming though.

Just one play I know, but he should have sealed the edge on that run by Jacquizz Rodgers just now. The play was there to be made.

3rd best draft pick is most disappointing?

The #7 pick in the entire draft being the 3rd best pick on the team is horrible.

nah martin and david were steals thats all..barron will be fine. he'll be an above average safety in the long run and i realize that #7 overall pick yet alone a safety should be elite but thats okay. we have other pieces on defense mccoy foster david to build around.

Should have taken Kuechly.   He would have worked wonders for the pass D.

He looks like a below average NFL safety at this point. I would expect more from a #7 overall pick and the first safety in the draft.

I'm happy with Lavonte instead of Kuechly... Although I think Kuechly is a MLB, right? Foster is decent in the middle. There was another first round safety though wasn't there? Denver maybe? I think he has looked better than Barron so far.

Lavonte is an outside linebacker.    Kuechly is a MLB.    Foster is horrible in pass coverage and he's not a team leader like Kuechly is.     Harrison Smith is the safety picked by the Vikings who has looked way better than Barron.

Yeah, Harrison Smith is who I was thinking of.  I wouldn't say Foster is horrible in pass coverage, but it's definitely not his strength. I think we needed a safety more than a replacement for Foster. I'd take Harrison + Lavonte + Martin more than I would Kuechly + David + Martin as our first three picks.

Yeah but kuechly is awful in the run. Why would we want that?

I like the Barron pick. Just need to see more splash plays from him in the secondary. He's been ok in run support.

Barron is an awful awful player... he gives up at least 2 touchdowns a game.
