I think that is a really great stat for a young team like this that is obviously lacking a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball, and has had to deal with a bunch of key injuries.

They have fought hard every single game - and compared to the gutless effort last season I am really pleased.

The true test will be whether this GM and ownership step up to the plate in the offseason and improve this god-awful pass defense.

What's the point of going to the playoffs if we'd be one and done? This passing defense gives the team no chance to win.

IMO, that stat is the best indicator of improvement over last year, and the Raheem years in general.

Absolutely. The pieces are falling into place for a nice run.

Hopefully Schiano and his staff can huddle up with Dominik in the off-season and come up with a great strategy to improve this defense. It needs to be a combination of free agency and the draft. For those who remember the years leading up to the Super Bowl season, it was a few key acquisitions that pushed this franchise over the top. Simeon Rice being a big one. We need a few impact players in the area of pass defense (edge rusher and cover corners).

I'd say they've improved.
