Quite a shame he pretty much bypasses it by being injured anyway.

According to Shefter, by losing his appeal and being suspended, all guarantees in Wrights deal have been voided.... which could cost him upwards of $9mil.

Time to cut the cord!!!

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

I didn't see that but interesting perspective.  He really hasn't done anything since being here.  I would like to see the stats on targets vs catches year to date.

I believed you just hadn't seen it at that time.  I guess it is time to cut bait.

At nearly $8M next season, he's likely a goner.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
By being suspended four games this season, the guaranteed money in Bucs CB Eric Wright’s contract for next season is now null and void.

‏@AdamSchefter
Eric Wright will lose $1.7 million this season and he is scheduled to make $7.75 million next season. Suspension could cost him $9.45 mil.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Eric.

Getting cut from this pass D won't look good on the resume. Lol. Wright wishes he was Phillip Buchanon.

Cut him.
Dom is lucky. This allowed him to dodge a bullet. This was a bad signing. Now we can draft a corner and spend money on a corner in free agency! Never thought I'd be excited by a suspension if a buccaneer starter, this however is great news.

More savvy than lucky, IMO. Wouldn't surprise me if all of Dom's contracts are set up like that.
