Due to his four-game PEDs suspension, the remainder of the guaranteed money in Bucs RCB Eric Wright's contract has been voided. So not only will Wright lose $1.7 million in game checks for the four-game ban, he could also be released after the season and the Bucs would be off the hook for his $7.75 million base salary in 2013. This PED suspension -- allegedly for using Adderall, could wind up costing Wright nearly $10 million. Nov 26 - 7:35 PM

Wouldn't be shocked if he was released in the off-season. His injuries and suspension are both getting old.

Cut bait, or at the very least re-structure his contract down to the 2.5 million range for next year.

Sign another corner in FA, Draft 2 in the first 3 rounds.

not the end of the world. I'm glad they had that written in his contract, Saving Grace for Dom, with the Pocket Centric Glazers.

Considering the NFL just levied the suspension, you're wrong.

I've never heard this confirmed....is this fact or assumption?

EDIT: Found these Shefter tweets

By being suspended four games this season, the guaranteed money in Bucs CB Eric Wright’s contract for next season is now null and void.

‏@AdamSchefter
Eric Wright will lose $1.7 million this season and he is scheduled to make $7.75 million next season. Suspension could cost him $9.45 mil.

Over unity of our high-priced accessory is to be utilized all the time in order to experiment with their own your well-being boosting merits. A lot of champions consider that heed may be taken in investing in over unity of our merchandise. Ideal magnet fashion considering the most powerful magnetism should preferred in the right way.

I think this was the appeal he lost.  In other words, he was suspended back when Glazer reported it, then appealed, now its a done deal.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

You have to be a full blown retard to fail a drug test that voids your $9.5M guaranteed contract.

CUT WRIGHT.

Add 3 new CB's to the team next year. Have Leonard Johnson man the #3 spot, with Biggers, Le'quan Lewis, and Gaitor serving as 4-5-6 guys.
