How 'bout that one fool on Twitter who tweeted "there are only 35,000 at Tampa game".

Miami is 5-6 and Cincy is 6-5.  KC supposedly was one of those cities with "real" fans and won the division in 2010 (7-9 last year)........

Didn't KC organize a boycott yesterday?  Think I remember hearing that.

I really don't want to turn this into a big thing, because it's completely played out by now, but if they have the balls to not go after spending the money on the tickets, more power to them.

so a bunch of "fake" fans bought tickets and didn't show up??  real fans would obviously be in the stands supporting their team

or did the owners/corporations buy up tickets??

No, KC is driven strongly by season ticket holders.  You could say they're better fans than most, because they're making a statement to the ownership regarding their dissatisfaction of what is going on, without hurting the team or the fanbase.

And to cut it off, not comparing them to Bucs fans in any way.  Just defending their right once they bought the tickets to not show up.

you're right about the season ticket thing, which is why judging tampa halfway through this season is ridiculous.   Secondly, if not showing up to a game to support your team isn't "hurting" your team, then why does anyone (other than people who want to watch the game on TV) care how many tickets we sell to a game?
