But shouldn't Broncos also fear this Buccaneer offense? I don't have the stats in front of me but since the bye aren't the Bucs the number scoring offense in the entire NFL? Manning is going to carve our defense like a Thanksgiving turkey but who's to say we wont return the favor and put 30+ points as well?

We are so easy to mark this as a loss but after taking a sip of pewter flavored kool aid I think we can going into Mile High and win a shoot out!

Bucs win 38-34

I believe our secondary will play the game of their lives and make a play when we need them to.  And true they should fear our offense just as much.

We've been in every game, so anything is possible.

I got a feeling we will see some LeGarrette this game

The Broncos have the 4th ranked offense and 4th ranked defense. They lead the league in sacks.

We have the 12th ranked offense and 30th ranked defense. We are almost dead last in sacks.

The good news is when you look at points scored per game, our offenses are ranked 3rd and 4th. (28.9 vs 28.2) Neck and neck there....and their defense is only allowing 3 points less than us per game. (20.1 vs 23.1) And in the end points are all that matters.

This is one of those games Freeman is paid to win.  It is time for the consistency to float up to the surface.

Amazingly, points seem to be so overlooked.

I disagree. If you expect Freeman to go up against the top pass rushing defense in the league and outplay Peyton Manning, while he plays vs the leagues worst pass defense....you are crazy. All Freeman need to do is play smart, manage the game, and make a few big throws while we run the ball 50 times.

Yea no doubt.

If we lose, which we probably will, then we will have to go 3-1 at the very least in the last quarter of games.  9-7 may get us in but 10-6 would guarentee it.  We should get 3 wins with the Rams, Eagles, and 80% chance of the Atlanta game being meaningless to them.

I do expect him to go up there and win.  I certainly don't give him the pass you are.  This is game 12 and not 4.

I wouldn't expect any QB, other than maybe Brady or Brees, to excel under these conditions.....but that's just me being realistic again.

I agree.  Most don't expect the Bucs to win this game, and rightly so.  But if they do, Freeman's gonna have to be the man.

I'm guessing you were a die-hard Morris supporter.  The coddling is over and this coach expects results.  These are the games that franchise qbs win and make a name for themselves.
