It's a patchwork line . We got away with it against lesser defenses , but Denver brings it. Bottom line really...BTW: Those who were talking about cutting Davin Joseph for Jamon Meredith next season...."not so fast my friend" !
Illuminator is a good poster. He sticks to his guns and makes good points. Some don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like that.
" Denver aggressively attacked Martin and Tampa Bay’s front all day, with almost no regard to the pass — the Broncos were content to play man coverage with one deep safety almost all game."This can't possibly be true, a franchise QB like Freeman would make them pay for coverage like that.Right?
FRG is the most logical poster on this board. You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.
They are one of the few teams that can do that because Champ Bailey is still one of the best Man Coverage cornerbacks in the league and he can handle Vincent one on one. Mike Williams was the wildcard. He needed to have a huge day. Six catches for 93 yards and a TD looks nice, but most of that came at the very end. He needed to blow up and he didn't. If he would have, then the Broncos would have had to change it up and it would have opened things for Doug.
Yeah....Doug's stiff arms and ankle breaking cut backs had nothing to do with it. It was just bad defense.

The "throw the ball somewhere near Mike Williams" play should have been the play of the day.
